Long Play Sound travels from the UK to DJ weddings abroad. We've played weddings in Morocco and Italy and held a residency in Rimini. We plan the kit, travel and timings with you and your venue, and quote each destination wedding individually once we know the location.
Why take a UK DJ to a wedding abroad
Most of your guests will be flying out from the UK. A local DJ may be excellent, but may not know the records your friends grew up with, the singalong your family expects, or how a British wedding crowd behaves at midnight. We do. And having held a residency in Rimini and played weddings in Morocco and Italy, we are used to working in venues and climates that are different from a UK barn.

How the logistics work
Every destination wedding is different, so we plan it with you and your venue. The questions we work through together:
- Kit. Whether we travel with the decks and use a PA supplied locally, or the venue has a system we can plug into.
- Power and setting. Outdoor terraces and courtyards need a plan for power, weather and noise curfews.
- Timings. Local rules on music finish times vary a lot between countries and venues.
- Travel. Flights and accommodation, which we include in the quote so there are no surprises.
Planning the music from a distance
The planning is the same as for a UK wedding, just done by video call. We agree the shape of the day: drinks, first dance, the evening and the last song, along with your must-play and no-play lists. If your celebrations run over more than one day, ask about a welcome party or day-after set as well.
Destination wedding DJ prices
We quote each destination wedding individually once we know the country, venue and timings. The main factors are travel and accommodation, how the sound system will be supplied, and how many hours we play.
